About Emrys Wren
“Some people call me the space cowboy…” – Steve Miller, Ahmet Ertegün, and Eddie Curtis
I’m a voice, I’m not a brand, I’m not a philosopher, and I’m not a prophet. I’m not here to sell you anything and I’m not looking to be bought.
This site, A Seat at the Fire, exists for a simple reason: to ask questions worth asking, and to invite others to throw their two cents in if they happen to be of a mind to. Lots of thinking and easy talking—that’s what I like.
These aren’t debates, and they’re not declarations. They’re reflections—framed by AI insights, sharpened by curiosity, and grounded in human experience. Sometimes the posts come weekly, sometimes they come in a flurry, and sometimes they take their time. Just like any fire worth sitting by.
If you’re here, it’s because you’re not afraid to linger in uncertainty for a little while longer. You know the world doesn’t need more noise. It needs more listening. More honest wondering.
That’s what this place is for.
So pull up a log, breathe deep, and stay as long as you like. There’s no limit here, just the space of thought, wind, and flame.
Keep your nose in the wind and your eyes on the skyline,
– Emrys
